They're really flying with the skylight cladding
Notice the new insulation and formwork around the window base? Too narrow to be a tree planter; any idea what it's for?

The formwork and insulation is for the concrete benches that will line both sides of the Oculus.

Does anyone know what that dark gray area is under the Hub? And to the bottom right?

Just a little curious

Westfield’s WTC retail space is fully booked
http://therealdeal.com/blog/2015/10/...-fully-booked/

Quote:
Every single space at the Westfield Group’s World Trade Center retail complex has been leased. All 125 stores that will occupy the company’s 350,000-square-foot Oculus space will open in the first half of 2016. Spaces at the complex range from 800 to 8,000 square feet, with an average size of 2,200 square feet. The company says it expects to do $700 million to $1 billion in annual retail sales — between $2,000 to $3,000 per square foot. The tenant brands – spanning apparel, beauty, tech, jewelry and food – are too many to list, but include Giorgio Armani, Aldo, Tiffany & Co, Davidoff, Turnbull & Asser and others, Racked reported. The Australia-based Westfield bought the space for $1.4 billion in 2013.

Just as well... I can only imagine the headlines when it opens and people don't see the space immediately filled with retail tenants...

Yes, true, but Fulton isn't quite as high profile...
