Ok letīs focus on the Hub so stop mixing political issues with arquitecture, not here, because it sounds like personal thing all of this. ( maximum trolleador !! )

Samey? Oh come on! I don't care what he built elsewhere, this is something NY needs. Would you prefer another stacked box for a transit center or something like this that is completely unique for NYC?

This project is very nice, although I would have liked him to do the project failed to build in Palma:

In my opinion, the Calatrava's project in Palma was the best architect's project in the last years

The nuclear white would be the best coluor for the building of NY

Ugh, no thanks. Too menacing looking for such a sensitive site as the WTC. Remember, that is a grave site, and you don't want something that looks very aggressive like that. The bird like wings of the current design is a lot softer and less jarring. The design is impressive though, but it doesn't suit the WTC at all.

I regret, there are only few photos of WTC site before WTC, I mean, before 1966. It seems that Radio Row was quite interesting area in Lower Manhattan. And I wonder how it was look, just before demolition for Twin Towers construction has begun.

The "weight wagon" weighs 95,000 pounds and with all weights added maxes out at 860,000 pounds. Don't quote me on this but with the Max-ER kit and it's current boom and jib configuration I think the 18000 can lift 260 tons at 200 feet.
wow thats big

I took this video in march 2010. It shows the corridor under the future Fulton Street. Maybe someone is interested to see it's scale.

Someone on Skyscraperpage said that you can almost see the oval-shaped outline of the Transportation Hub even now. Does anyone else see this?

Also, when is the transportation hub due to be at street level?

Thanks for sharing. It would be interesting to see how much work they have done in there over the past 18 months.

If you continue this line to the north-western side, you can see the preparation for the column footings along the northern edge..
