Thanks, can't wait for it to be complete

Once you've done that, come back here and post the pics. We won't mind waiting a day or two.
Thanks, I'll do that

It must be a typo. This is the 'Ground Zero' PATH Station:

When I was standing in front of the Burger King on Liberty Street last Wednesday, two girls (tourists) were standing right next to me, when one of them asked the other "And where is Ground Zero?".
Out of reflex I just pointed down Liberty Street. For a moment I thought about telling them, but then they were already gone.
So, sadly it seems like there are still (a few) people who call it Ground Zero.

While it's understandably difficult for the older folks to kick the habit, the tragedy is that people who weren't even alive on 9/11/01 might adopt the term unless it is actively discouraged right now (the same goes for 'Freedom Tower'). Silverstein Properties, Westfield, Durst, and the Port Authority have done a good job in promoting accurate terminology, but the media and politicians won't let it go.

Wow!

Looking good.

I really think that it will be quite beautiful when it is finished.

I agree with not calling it Ground Zero, now that it's no longer a big hole in the ground, though the memorial is technically "ground zero." Personally, I call it "the site" or "the Trade Center." A tourist once asked me where "the pools" were. So, to each his own...

As for "Freedom Tower", that was what it was originally publicized as, not something the media made up. I doubt tourists would ask "how do I get to 1 World Trade Center?"

BTW, why do we still call 350 5th Ave. "Empire State Building"?

"Freedom tower" is the most cringe-worthy name and I can't wait until it becomes eradicated from peoples' vernacular.

Also, the retail mix seems kind of odd. Dior next to Kate Spade? Seems like they wanted it to be a full on luxury destination but couldn't secure all the right tenants. But anyway, all I'm clamoring for is some more/proper wayfinding, restrooms, places to sit, clocks, etc. You know, things an actual "transport hub" should have.

Which picture are you talking about? Because in some cases, its just the lighting from that particular angle.

The main hallway looks like a skating rink.

I have a theory that the West Concourse is the same width as the original North Bridge connecting the WTC and WFC:

Perhaps it is also the same (or similar) width as the Dey Street Concourse?

No public restrooms yet. Wait until the whole thing opens.

Fulton Center has restrooms.
