Most of the reason it doesn't look good in that picture is because of the construction. The paint job reflects differently in the light, and it looks good.

I don't think they should remove the elevator (especially since you need handicapped access), but it might be a good idea to put something on that blank wall outside. Maybe a glass etching of the old WTC would work.

...Well,we all know about that....but....the words you are using are a bit harmful and exaggerated:"tragedy","despair","third world country"....these are words the Donald would use;..I just think NY and the WTC are still great and there are no reason we could'nt improve

So are they going to paint another coat on the exterior or have they finished?

Entrance via WTS4's revolving doors is terrible overcrowded
and just two escalators are not enough for peak time commuters. It's designers mistake which is impossible to fix. The same with PATH overcrowded platforms. But here I trust in platform #6 and #7. Maybe it will allow to use both side doors of train like in Newark station.

Went here yesterday and it was crowded. With the small entrance and people crowding the little area overlooking the Oculus and it was not even peak hours.

A third world country - these are not the words of Donald, are the words of US Vice President, try to guess about what - it is located in in New York City.
Why is it so bad - cost reduction, building components had to be sanded, but ran out of money and it caused this effect - it was to be beautifully but it is simply bad, conclusion - you have no money it does not build.
Unfortunately it does not look beautiful - could be so but now is not.

Knowing our Vice President, I'm going to say that he's referring to the train station under Madison Square Garden?

...well, yes, that too in some respects.

But that's what comes from having such an old facility. The price of being the pioneer.

Pretty typical for Calatrava structures to show this kind of finish:

The door is small to increase the feeling of spaciousness to the interior. Not a defect is done so thoroughly. The architect explained in several videos where you ask about the doors. It is a typical resort in Europe, (He is from Spain) such as cathedrals and theaters, the entrance is small to increase the feeling of grandeur.

This is not said Donald - it said Vice President of USA and so much in topic looks like something that was not built according to the plans, elements of the building had to be sanded but ran out of money and have this effect - could have been lovely but now is not ... conclussion - you do not have the money it not build ... build something cheaper because it can look better.

Well obviously, but people really love this line.

So, your reasoning is that an allegedly $4 billion structure skimped a few hundred thousand at most by not sanding the exterior finish?

Which is it? Did they spend too much money or not enough. I can't keep track, these days.
