Can someone please repost the 'fly through' video again? I can't find it, and now that more of the transit hub is done, it may be good to look at it again.

Edit. Found it.

Yes, the project is being developed by Brookfield Properties.

Turner Construction is using Google SketchUp for structural analysis and logistics of the Transportation Hub project
For Swiddle, Oli and other members interested in the engineering aspects of this project:

Amazing sketches, thanks Otie!

I'd love to see some pics from below, the part where they are constructing the new railway lines (the two eastern ones at the moment)..

I remember that they were supposed to be finished by the end of the year, so that next year the temporary box with the western lines can be destroyed and this part can start.. hopefully they are on schedule, but at least the transport hub related part in the eastern bathtub progresses pretty well..

Apologies if you folks have covered this already...but based on these photos, are those diagonal supports just temporary until the fabricated pieces are put in place?

Yes they're temporary, almost everything that will form the building itself will be either guyed or supported by temporary bracing or columns until everything is put into place and the oculus structure is prepared to receive the permanent loads.

This thing's got me puzzling for a long time now, and all of a sudden there's some oval shape appearing. Wizardry!

This thing is coming along great. Won't be long before they complete that oval, looking forward to it.
