One problem with watching this on the web cam is scale. It looks not very big.

But in those pictures you can see that just the metal rails that the cranes are to slide on are so big they need stairs to get up them!!

When do people think the vertical ribs are to go up? Will it be soon?

On Earthcam you can see they're filling in the decked part with rebar.

Only one negative comes to mind. The view of 1WTC from the center of the floor is so spectacular, it might have been better to turn it 90 degrees, or have a glass dome roof.

Anyone knows anything about water evacuation on the floor of the hub ? Since I guess there won't be any glass between those arches, when it rains outside, it rains inside, when it's snowing outside, it's snowing inside, and you get my drift.

The entire Hub will be enclosed, even the street level entrances can be completely closed if any apocalyptic flood occurs.

The interior designs are great! It is looking like a modern version of 60s architecture. Can't wait to check it out when it opens.

I don't think the ''Ribcage" look was a great idea considering the history of this site... but it's still great!

Seeing the renders, I have no idea how they're going to enclose the hub. If you have any information, feel free to share it!

^There will be glass between the ribs, meaning that the only area were fresh air could come in is directly from the operable skylight.

Thanks for the information. Now I'm wondering how they'll clean it, but I guess time will tell.

The "dome" will have glass in between the beams, but the wings will not.

Now that's an interesting question, I'm guessing window washers will use a traditional rope tied to a horn-type handle up at the skylight.

Is it me, or has work seemed to have stalled on 1 WTC the last month or so? I was there in mid April, and they've only added 4 stories since.

Thanks.
