The East M1280D is assembling the west crane. right now they are about to install the diagonal strut [for lack of a better term] on the SW side of the crane. It may be worth remembering that the oculus is extremely large, even though the new crane barely has to try to reach the other crane. absolutely amazing.

I don't recall seeing this section assymetric.

Im thinking yes, unless they have design some serious temp connection plates and bracing.
I don't receive alot of information of the structural stuff, but the connections at the rafters have a dovetail like joint (similar to the east west passageway ribs) and are indeed welded. Bracing is planned and portals will be guyed.

even tho the 1280 is a bit bigger and stronger, the 2300 is a whale of a crane

PATH Hall and PATH Track Level?

Does anyone have info on the progress/status of the PATH Hall and the PATH Track Level? I don't recall that they have been discussed lately.

Minor architectural repairs around the subway box and coating contractor doing its job at the PATH hall roof.

Sorry, change of logistics. Skanska cranes will also erect rafters.

Earthcam repositioned 3 and possibly 4 of their cameras to be in the same position and currently face T1 and the Hudson, including heir Oculus camera. We no longer have a live feed of T3, T2, and the hub from Earthcam except for their street camera. But we do still have the KPI cams.

It's amazing how unreliable these cameras can be. Sigh. But they're free to us, so I guess we shouldn't complain.

I believe there are two Earthcams up on top of the Millenium Hilton:

This is the original, but it hasn't updated in two or three weeks:

http://archives.earthcam.com/archive...gzrobotic1.jpg

The second one is on a guard tour and provides the views for Tower 1 Zoom, Tower 1, Tower 1 Base, and Oculus (and possibly Tower 4 Progress):

Hopefully they will fix the second one soon. It's probably just a software or operator issue. Too bad the original isn't updating, as it had been cleaned recently and thus has a much cleaner, sharper image.

The recently re-aimed KPI cam from 7WTC hasn't updated today. When it rains, it pours.

The only available live cameras are the KPI cams and Earthcam's street view camera.

The street view is nice since it's live video that's on a guard tour. Just saw them add a mast section about five minutes ago for the west crane.

They are up to date - I just looked at them this afternoon. The progress is consistent with today. (Second blue tower coming out of the oculus, cladding on 1WTC, etc)

Yes, the 7WTC cam just updated today at 13:00 (), which is the first time since 19:27 on Sunday, as you can see from the history.
