I think the slew motor died in the camera mount, it still zooms in for the 'tower 1 zoom' camera. It's been repeating the same movement in an hourly cycle for years, so I don't blame it.

looks like they aimed it so we can see the pretty colored lights on T1 but it's getting kinda boring already.

This is what EarthCam says on their facebook page about the cams:

Some routine maintenance is being performed at the camera location, so they will be offline for a short while. Once maintenance is completed we'll get the cams back online. Thanks for your patience!

Oh yes, pieces coming from Brooklyn piers, some pieces are sooo large they are going to be hanging off the truck, most of these will be rafter segments.

Vin, you've gotta take some pics when the deliveries start coming, specially the arch segments!!

I'll be on it! Been talking to my buddy from MRP Harris, I will see if he knows when stuff will be rolling in. If you or anyone else know the dates let me know, I will make the trips down for sure

So excited to see the arches come in. But man, Earthcam sure did pick a great time to do maintenance work on their cameras... The new crane is about to start working alongside its twin, three world trade center's steel erection is looking great, 1WTC's base is starting to show signs of life, one of the cranes is coming down, and the spire is about to go up. Plus, the glass on 1WTC is about to reach the maintenance floors, 3WTC lease talks are going on and hopefully they follow through and allow the tower to continue to rise ,and best of all, the arch erection for Calatrava's hub will go up soon. I have been waiting so long and finally get to see it happen live! This has been a very interesting few weeks at the site and can't wait to see those pictures! Oh and thank you all for the updates with everything that is going on! I really appreciate it.

Wow that's good news! I already feared that we miss the most interesting part of the construction.. Hopefully maintenance is finished soon!

Looks like they are about to start the last big street-level pour. Exciting!

Santiago Calatrava is not Spanish: now pays taxes in Switzerland. A patriot

Practice makes perfect. Can't wait to see the steel come on site. I should be able to work on the crane model after next weekend.

A new fence is being put up about a dozen feet behind the edge of the oculus. I think they are going to remove the barrier on the edge to make room for the installation of the portals.

Good catch.

It's back! And with a cleaner, sharper image...

So other than the wings going up, what is the next big thing that is supposed to happen on the site?

Did I say there will be benches around the oculus, at the very bottom of each portal?

Swiddle, I can't find the view you just showed. Is that cam still working?

Thanks.
