SSC India Forum FAQ thread

Hello and welcome to the Indian section of Skyscrapercity - an online forum that tracks all urban developments in the built environment. Please familiarize yourself with the subforum for a few days by going through old threads to see how the forum functions. Please also take a couple of minutes to read the forum rules, guidelines and helpful tools below. These have been compiled over time and may change.

• Navigating the forum
On the top left of the forum page you will find the forum tree which looks like this:


You can click on the above links to navigate through the SkyscraperCity forums.


• Private Messaging
You can send a Private Message to any member on SkyscraperCity. To do this just click on the member's name and then on "send a private message to ....". You can add upto 5 recipients/message.

To check your inbox messages go to the top right section of the forum. It should look like this:


Then click on "private messages"


• Subscription to threads
You can subscribe to your favorite threads and view them on a single page instead of visiting each subforum which can take a lot of time.

To subscribe to a thread, click on Thread tools on the top of the thread and then on Subscribe to this thread. Once you've added a subscription you can view all the threads by clicking on User CP on the top left. It will display all the subscribed threads that have been unread. To view all the subscribed threads, click on View all Subscribed Threads. On that page all unread threads will appear in bold and the read ones will appear in normal font.
