Below are some updates:-
1) The Heritage is now under final stage of pilling works.
2) The Straits Residence has reached level 20 and will be T/O within few weeks time.
3) The office tower(nearly completed) and club house(T/O status) at Kota Laksamana.
4) The crane for Hatten City is up, and currently construction at level 3 ? I think The Shore currently also at level 3.
For the Tropicana Residence Condo, construction will start soon I guess as Teladan Setia had just conducted a dilapidation survey on the few affected surrounding residential houses in late February. So it's just a matter of time.

Anyway.Mlk will get new hospital soon.

From the star.

Malacca govt, Manipal Medical College build
RM100mil hospital
MALACCA: The Malacca state government and
the Malacca Manipal Medical College (MMMC)
will be jointly building a RM100mil Manipal
Hospital here.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said
the 120-bed hospital would be built on a 6.5-
hectare site in front of the MMMC in Batu
Hampar, Bukit Baru in six months.
He said the construction of the hospital,
expected to be completed in two years was in
line with the state government's objective to
develop the 12 subsectors of tourism including
health tourism.
"The hospital will provide medical specialist
services such cardiology, cancer and others
apart from regular medical treatment with
modern medical equipment," he told reporters
after a visit to MMMC here today which was
attended by college chancellor Datuk Ramdas
M. Pai .
Mohd Ali said the state government was also
proposing that MMMC conducts post-graduate
courses in medicine and dentistry for its 1,500
students.
This is because the facilities at the college are
among the best at medium cost to enable
medical students to continue their studies. -

Sounds like a small hospital with 120-beds.

Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh - 250 Beds
Mahkota Medical Center - 235 Beds
Putra Specialist Hospital - 200 Beds

Funtasy Island for Malaysia? Posted on 26 March 2012 - 05:39am PREMALATHA JAYARAMAN sunbiz@thesundaily.com

PETALING JAYA (March 26, 2012) : Funtasy
Island Development Pte Ltd, which is
developing a S$900 million (RM2.2 billion)
eco-tourism park called "Funtasy Island" on an
island located between Batam and Singapore
and next to Sentosa Island, is looking for
opportunities to extend its concept in Malaysia.
Michael Yong, founder and managing director
of the Singapore-based property developer,
said the company has identified one of the
small islands off the coast of Malacca for
potential development into an eco-tourism
park, but has not initiated any talks yet.
"I had recently visited one of the islands off
Malacca and this island is very beautiful. I am
interested in the island, but (before we start
talking to the land owners) we are still looking
for other opportunities," he told SunBiz in an
interview.
He said Malacca will be suitable for an eco-
tourism park as it has a ready international
tourist market. According to the Malacca
Tourism Promotion Division, a total of 12.2
million people visited the state last year, of
which 3.1 million are international tourists,
mainly from China, Singapore, Indonesia,
Taiwan and Myanmar.
"We are willing to consider developing an eco-
tourism park in Malaysia when the opportunity
arises as there are many suitable islands here.
Malaysia is also home to a wide variety of flora
and fauna, beaches, marine life, rainforest,
rivers and caves. The project can be in hill
tourism, jungle tourism or river tourism, so long
they are eco-tourism-related developments
which are our specialty," said Yong.
Funtasy Island Development was established in
2010 in Singapore by two Indonesians as land
owner, a Singaporean director who is in the
management and two Malaysian directors —
Yong and Darren Yang, who is also CEO of
King's Confectionery Sdn Bhd and is
responsible for selling properties on the island
and its branding.
Yong said Funtasy Island, which is part of the
328ha development, is 30% completed, and will
be ready in 2014 and is expected to attract one
million visitors a year.
He said the island resort will be able to
accommodate more than 10,000 visitors, with
a maximum occupancy of 3,000 a day.
The eco-tourism park, envisioned to be the
world's largest, will house a marine garden,
villas, bungalows, a club house, water theme
park, retail shops and a 2ha "Love Island" for
couples seeking to hold an island wedding
ceremony.
"We intend to develop 30% of the 328ha island
and keep the remaining 70% natural," he
added.
Yong also said the key factor in the eco-
tourism resort development is its attractiveness
and that nature can never grow obsolete.
"That's why people going for holidays choose
nature as well as fun. That's how the 'funtasy'
name came about as it is not only about
having fun, but also to help preserve the nature
of the island," he said.
Activities on Funtasy Island will include nature
trails, outdoor adventure sports, camping and
water sports such as water-skiing, jet-skiing,
island hopping, snorkelling, canoeing and
scuba diving.
"We aim to achieve a revenue of S$100 million
per year when the park starts operations in
2014," said Yong.

I suppose Oscar Symphony is based in Selangor. Besides Hatten City, the Straits Residence+Novotel will be the best looking towers at Melaka Raya.
