Its one of my favourite cities in Norway, its small, but its architecture and location is perfect! Its known to be one of the most beautiful cities in Norway too.

Northern part of Apotekergata street and Aksel Holms Plass (a small square). This is just out of the commercial part of the streets, so its less people here. ![]()

This is the Ålesund Church completed in 1909. The old church burned down with with the rest of the city in 1904 in the biggest city fire in modern Norwegian history. You can read more about this disaster here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%85lesund_Fire

Next up is some expeditions through several naturally made caves in Nord Trøndelag county, just north of Trondheim. These caves are very small, made by small rivers. They can be pretty long (2 to 4 hour long expeditions), but you will have to pass by extremely narrow tunnels, and climb up and down dangerous waterfalls or cliffs. ![]()

Wet and dark caves. The second picture is taken from the roof and down. This cave is 4-5m tall, but very narrow. The river have cut a nice 'canyon' through the mountain. ![]()

Then the river suddenly disappear through a hole leading further into the underworld. This is a over 20m tall vertical waterfall with more waterfalls following it and a large lake at the bottom.

Wow, great quality photographing! Keep them coming. If you don't mind - can you tell me what kind of lens and camera are you using? To me, it looks like they are all taken with wide lenses.
