Guys, sorry about being absent for 2 weeks but I had so much work to do these days. These pictures were taken 1 week ago and only now I have the chance to post. Despite that I hope you enjoy it once more.

Still in Downtown I decided to walk along Avenida Amazonas coming from Praηa Raul Soares to Praηa da Estaηγo. Once again I've been to Praηa Sete because it's a major crossroad of Centro and I couldn't avoid to pass trough. Apart from that there was soul music going on the spot so I thought it was a good idea taking few pics.

nice pics but you should really modify the settings on you're camera , the light exposure is way to big for such a sunny day

You're talking about these blank spots, right?

I noticed that too but really wasn't sure how to solve. There is a scale of light exposure on the camera's settings starting from -2 to +2 jumping 0.5 so that you've got the following options:

-2 ; -1.5 ; -1,0 ; -0.5 ; 0 ; +0.5 ; +1.0 ; 1.5 ; 2.0

I used the 0 option on these pics. So you think that I should use the -0.5 option then?

Thanks for the comments, garcia!

I'm really addicted to city center though today I snapped only a few. I thought that my camera's battery was full and once I was already there I realized it was about dead. Next time I'll charge the camera before leaving home.

I accepted the suggestion of calavera and decreased the light exposure by 0.5 in a scale that comes from -2.0 to +2.0. Before it was 0.0 and now on these new shots I used -0.5. I really would appreciate a feedback. So guys, feel free to express yourselves!

Thanks Shya. Do you think that the quality of pics improved comparing these last set to the previous one? What do you suggest me to make it better?

I'm not really an expert on photography. I don't even do manual settings in my camera - I find it very time-consuming and I don't have patience doing it . Most of the time I just use pre-set camera settings. So, except for keeping the horizon as horizontal as possible in your shots (unless you actually do an angled shot on purpose), I can't really give more expert opinion.

Just keep on shooting and over time you will know what's good and what's not.

I kept myself taking a few more pics of the city center. I didn't realize how big it is until I started this thread. I didn't cover all the avenues yet and there are many streets to show. What you're going to see now is Avenida Augusto de Lima and Avenida Olegαrio Maciel in the end you've got Rua dos Caetιs.
