MADRID, Spain - April 2010

During the Easter holiday's week, i've been to Madrid for the first time, i loved the place. Things that i've noticed were:

- Alot of police and security around, makes you feel a bit too safe

- Alot of graffiti.
- Very clean streets.
- People offering free drinks to you at night time (probably the best aspect xD)

Lets go ahead with the photos then, i shall post some every so often since there are alot of them

I have found the reason why many people think that Spain is in Southamerica

I love Madrid in the cloudy days. What parts of Madrid did you visited?

I stayed in a flat with my uncle in Moncloa, places i've visited we're the usual tourist areas but also around Villaverde and Moncloa itself.

I saw only a tiny part since i was passing by, looked pretty nice, i liked all the different blocks.

Madrid is high on my list of places to see, I am just scared that I may not want to come back home

Each and every pictures different from each other and each one contain own story . I like all above pictures and I totally agree with wapo . Buildings colour is noticeable also .In this one thread contain almost all phase the pictures of city like building , road , culture etc .

I am sorry to say that but Mexico (where the Mariachis belong to) is NOT in South America same as Spain is not in Eastern Europe...

Thanks very much. __________________ Madrid: 3 top world class museums, 300 kms of underground for 1,20 euros, a new airport terminal of 1 km long by Richard Rogers, the city where more companies are created in Spain and which gets 70% of foreign investments for Spain, the biggest gay pride of Europe, the perfect city to learn Spanish, a new park of 6 kms along the river Manzanares, 4 skyscrapers of 250 mtrs, some excellent museums and...in the future a new avenue of three kms with more than ten skyscrapers of 250 and 300 mters...and soon Eurovegas!
