Durban | King Shaka International Airport

Some Panomaric shots I took on Sartuday & Sunday

At 6:10am with Marc Forrest in the corner

Looking at the pedestrian walk to the shaded parking

At the departures level over looking the terminal awaiting the first take off, spot Juzzy

High tailing to the other end to catch a better view

Waiting for Dysan & Ron, Juzzy wasnt impressed since he didnt have his caffeine, lol

Inside the departures terminal

loving the beam lit up in blue

First landing at King Shaka International

View from the hill

Mango doing a triple synchronized landing

Inside arrivals

Food court

Night pics

My Apologies for the quality and possible duplication with another thread. These images were taken with my N97.

Stunning pics!! Thanks for sharing. I was away this weekend and so couldnt make the early morning meeting. However, I made my way to KSIA at night and captured the first moonrise over KSIA, as well as other stuff! Will be posting pics soon...

Thanks for the most awesome photos - KSIA is no doubt Africa's best (and world class too) - looks like Shaka is there with his favourite cow. Looks like Woolworths is a bit late in opening. Is Pat Lambie the 12 year old - or the slightly out of it looking person behind him? Weird that Mugg and Baked Beans still draws a queue?

My personal pick would be this one:

Thanks Ron, will ask Jan if he can make it the banner for the 8th, which is the date of the official opening.

feel free to use the pics where ever you want, the more exposure Durban & KSIA gets, the better!
