Nice photos man, I like the airport. What I didn't like was the Shaka Zulu's statue as I always thought it makes him look like a herds boy instead of a prominent Zulu lead, but the rest is fine.

Aerial Photo Collection of KSIA
Hi Folks,
Its great to see Durbanites all in favour and heaping praise on our new airport. I'm new to the SSC forum and it seems not yet allowed to upload images/attachments, so I can't include any of my pics here, but you KSIA pundits are encouraged to visit my Site and see a collection of aerial images of KSIA. http://www.airserv.co.za/tc.php?pk=wip#ksia I did see one person in this thread mis-naming the new airport as Ushaka - to be properly pedantic; its King Shaka International Airport.  awesome pics, Im sure you spotted us from your plane/ helicopter on the opening day on the hill at the edge of the runway  strange that you can post pics here, normally you just have to upload them and paste them here? |

I was at the Dube Tradeport yesterday and noticed a very wide overhead cargo transport bridge system being installed between the buildings on the left and right of the road (going over the road) at the cargo terminal......lots of rollers inside.
