The numbers mentioned in the press releases were for the Gross Leasable Area (GLA). This means how much square meters inside the mall building are available for rent. GFA and GLA are different.

Total Gross Floor Area (GFA) for Robinsons Place Butuan is 45,300 sq. m. if we include the GoHotel. On the other hand, a total of 41,889 sq. m. has been allocated for the mall/retail area itself and that includes the 26,000+ sq. m. GLA.

Hope everything's clear now.

Aguy, contradictory man. From 7.9 nahimong 14. Asa may tinuod sa duha noy? Naglibog nako. Way ayo ni. Bitaw, actual size for the lot is 7.9 hectares. For now around 4+ hectares ang gi-occupy, naa pa silay 3+ hectares for future expansion.

Robinsons Land opening 4 malls in ’13
By Doris C. Dumlao
Philippine Daily Inquirer
8:49 pm | Monday, March 11th, 2013

Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corp. is set to open four new shopping malls this year, which will allow the property developer to breach the 1-million square-meter mark in terms of gross leasable area (GLA) for its shopping mall portfolio.
RLC is set to open Robinsons Place Santiago (Isabela) in October and in November, Robinsons Malls will increase its presence in the Visayas with the opening of Robinsons Place Roxas City. Two more malls are also set to open in December—one in Butuan and another in Malolos (Bulacan), top RLC officials said Monday.
The company is investing at least P6 billion to complete the construction of the four new malls, which add to its existing GLA of about 910,000 sq m in the mall portfolio. RLC is, thus, expected to end the year with 36 shopping malls, making it the second largest shopping mall developer in the country. It will also expand its total mall GLA by about 10 percent.
“In all these locations, we have a first-mover advantage. Right now, these markets have growing consumer markets and underserved markets. Their locations were very well chosen–either in the center of activity or where the growth of the city is moving to,” RLC president Frederick Go said in a conference with tenants.
“We have a very steady pipeline of malls that we’re building. We’re going around the country looking for more sites to build more shopping malls,” Go said.
The Malolos mall has a GLA of 26,800 sq m, Butuan has GLA 26,100 sq m., Roxas City has 23,500 sq m and Santiago has 26,100 sq m, based on a fact sheet released by RLC yesterday. Whenever RLC opens a new mall, Go said tenant occupancy rate was always at least 90 percent.
Santiago City is considered the center of commerce and trade in Isabela. It is home to thousands of business enterprises, banks, schools and manufacturing companies. RLC’s upcoming mall in the city is situated near the junction of three major highways—the Santiago-Tuguegarao Hghway, the City Road which leads to downtown Santiago, and the Maharlika Highway going towards Manila.
In Roxas City, the new mall will be situated at the northern portion of Pueblo de Panay, a 300-hectare masterplanned township development along the Lawaan Highway.
Described by RLC as the center of commerce in the Caraga Region, Butuan City is the seat of regional government offices and boasts of the most number of banks and educational institutions in the region. The new mall will rise on a 7.9-hectare lot along the Butuan-Cagayan de Oro-Iligan Road. It will also feature a 102-room GoHotel.
Tama ba ang numbers, murag nigamay man?

Again, 26,100 is the Gross Leasable Area (GLA) or the total area available for rent inside the mall building. 41,889 is the Gross Floor Area (GFA) or the total area available for retail operations inside the mall building and that includes the 26,100 GLA.

7.9 hectares ang total lot pero 4.5 pa ang gi-occupy apil na ang mall ug GoHotel.

Walay nigamay or nidako. Rob Place Bxu is still the biggest

Robinsons Place Butuan: A New level of shopping Experience in Caraga

MANILA, Philippines - Robinsons Malls, through Robinsons Place Butuan, promises to soon enhance the already bustling trade in Butuan, giving another boost to the local and regional economy, and at the same time providing residents with a new level of shopping experience.

Arlene G. Magtibay, Robinsons Land Corp. general manager for the Commercial Centers Division, noted that the arrival of Robinsons Mall would “surely change the shopping landscape” of the Caraga Region.

“It will be the first time that a national player in the malling industry will ever operate in the entire region. This will entice more people within Caraga to make Butuan as their main community of interest,” Magtibay explained.

Butuan is undoubtedly the center of commerce and trade at the Caraga Region, which comprises Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur and the Dinagat Islands. Butuan has the most number of banks, and educational institutions in the region, with Fr. Saturnino Urios University as one of the biggest.

Robinsons Place Butuan is a mixed-use development that is set to accommodate a mall and a hotel to further complete the shopping experience of the people of Caraga Region. Set to rise at an approximately 78,900 square meter lot, the first-ever, full-service mall in Butuan is located along Butuan-Cagayan de Oro-Iligan Road.

The development consists of a three-story commercial complex with approximately 40,800 sqm of gross floor area; a 100-room GoHotel; and a parking area with some 450 parking slots.

The mall will likewise house more than 200 tenants including Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Appliance, Handyman, a food court, four digital cinemas, and an amusement center.

“Aside from the big food chains, we look forward to providing the locals with a pleasurable shopping experience that will include showcasing brands that are not yet available in Butuan and which the locals visit whenever they go to big cities like Manila, Cebu and Davao,” Magtibay noted.

Soon to rise as well is the first-ever GoHotel in the province which, upon completion, will have over 100 rooms that will feature the same brand of service and comfort that other GoHotels in the country are best known for.

This early, it is predicted that the completion of Robinsons Place Butuan will not only change and enhance the way the people of Butuan shop and do their business, but will also improve the overall quality of their lives, as they will have easy access to everything they need, from famous brands to the most appetizing treats.

“Robinsons Place Butuan will definitely provide the people of Caraga comfort and convenience since they need not travel to nearby Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Cebu or Manila if only to find and buy their preferred items and products/brands,” Magtibay claimed.

And apart from bringing to the province well-known brands from Manila and providing local shoppers the opportunity to experience the levels of customer service and shopping facilities common only in big malls in the cities, Robinsons Place Butuan will also have a DFA Consular Office which will accept applications for new passports as well as renewals.
