Beast at Kings Island will always be one of my favorite coasters. The way the thing goes tearing through the forest is so awesome, but the damn lift hill is SO slow! It has me nearly peeing myself with excitement before it gets to the top.
![]() The Georgia Cyclone at Six Flags in Atlanta is another fun coaster, but it's rough as hell. If you can stand having your kidneys punched and teeth nearly knocked out, you'll love it! ![]() Last edited by Evan; July 18th, 2010 at 04:50 PM. |

I love The Beast. It was one of my first true roller coasters that I rode and always went on it atleast 5 times every time I visited Kings Island. I also went on the Son of Beast too and thought it didn't beat or compare to The Beast, even when it had the loop.

I didn't get to ride SoB when it had the loop, but I wasn't very impressed with it. It's big, just not that exciting. The last I heard it was not operating, and KI was not saying when or even if it would run again.

Here's you another coaster, Lucky. El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. I've not ridden it yet, but it looks like an awesome ride! I love me some wooden coasters.

Wow that is a lot of new roller coasters in the past decade. Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA changed a lot since last time I went there. Need to come back and check it out.
I don't get Sea World... They didn't invest much in the one in San Diego, CA while they did a lot to the one in Orlando, Florida. San Diego has perfect weather and attracts a lot of tourists. Why can't they invest it in San Diego too? |

Probably has to do with the firce competition for tourist dollars in Orlando.

And the comment about increased competition in Orlando is definitely a factor as well. Sea World SD has the Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Legoland and Belmont Park (tiny amusement park on the beach) to compete with. They're all pretty much on the same caliber in my opinion...
