pix are originally posted by Vloepkleedje. this towers are also created in Amsterdam, at banks of the IJ.

I guess the height from the tallest tower is between 100 and 110 meters, the smallest tower between 80 en 85 meters.

here's the pic, it's still just a study:

Amsterdam is certainly surprising me. I hope the Zuidas willl one day become the dutch equivalent of Paris la Defence. It does have the potential.

Let´s hope not, la Defence is pretty boring! But for the skyline, let´s hope the Zuidas has more interesting arhcitecture.

It's funny to see the amount of construction areas in Amsterdam when i'm traveling from my work in Amsterdam to Utrecht.
I get in the train and... from the moment i leave the Central station, till i atcually leave Amsterdam it's one big construction area.

- Central Station
- Oosterdok Eiland, from there you can see the Shellterrein (will be u/c soon),
- then there's A LOT going on around the passengers terminal
- the new IJ tram to IJBurg
- then to the right there's a huge (a really long one... not high) appartment complex u/c , not quite sure what the name is.
- then a bit later you'll pass Amstel where the DWR towers are u/c
- from there you can see a bunch of new buildings rise... Zuidas
- then the area around the Arena Boulevard with al lot of activity there.

Did i forget something? ;-)

I am a proud dutchman! Although the pictures are not all about skyscrapers, they should be interesting enough for city planners and city fans.

In English:
Some dutch guys were asking if this thread couldnt be moved the dutch section, i certainly do not agree.
Maybe its not all "internationally" interesting(but some is!), this is a nice topic for ppl who are interested. They can use the search now to find it
