I've spent half of the day carrying an injured bird in a box around West London trying to find an RSPCA branch or vet that will take the poor little bugger in.

The side of my face really hurts. I'm very sure that bloody dentist wasn't very good. It took him about 5/6 times longer to eventually wrench the tooth out of my head than my other wisdom tooth. Nice guy though.

Since I started cycling everywhere I've felt so much better. Muscles, joints, physically, emotionally everything feels really good. I feel like I could take on the world now.

I'm doing a couple of miles a day atm but I hope to try and do at least 100 a week.

It was getting pecked to death by two Magpies outside of my house. I went outside, put it in a box and took it to my local RSPC branch which was shut due to lack of staff - so I had to traipse to a vets and hand it in.

The way they were looking at it I don't think there's a lot of hope for the poor little blighter.

I've just driven the tip of a pair of secateurs through my fingernail.

It hurts so bad I'm actually laughing.

A dark mole has appeared on my scalp. My GP says it doesn't look too suspicious at the moment, but I must watch for any changes in appearance or feel, also i've got to go back every three months. It has only appeared during the last three weeks.
It would seem to be related to my recent sunburnt scalp episode.

I recently rescued a young starling from a couple of magpies. It appeared to have a damaged eye. I released it some distance away in a bush. I know It's a bit futile and pointless interfering with nature in this way, (as well as depriving the magpies of their dinner) but I just couldn't stand by and watch it being pulled apart.

I got cramp in my leg whilst I was asleep a few nights ago, the first time in years. After a bit of wriggling around, or perhaps even jumping out of bed in a half asleep way, it must have gone but the next day I could still feel where it had been and made walking a bit awkward for 24hrs.

Thats true. The only reason that my dick didnt drop off this morning was because I had a large coffee and ham pannini on the way home.
Not out again until Friday now so the tingle face should have worn off by then.

'Tingle Face', rather worryingly, sounds like a very mild stroke.

Regarding 'Tingle face', I get something similar periodically which after much medical investigation (CAT scan of my brain, various other blood & physical tests and examinations) was concluded to be a weird sort of migraine. They pushed the boat out because they thought it might have been the onset of MS because I have 2 first cousins with it (my Mum's 2 sisters each have a child with MS).

The symptoms would last for about a week at a time; they'd come on slowly and ease off slowly, peaking at about 3-4 days. The left side of my face and often scalp would become tingly and quite tender to the touch at the 'peak', oddly the upper left gum would also become very sore and swollen at the same time, with a bloody irony taste (but with no bleeding), flossing and brushing just that specific area would become quite painful. Even my left eyeball would become tender such that blinking could be a little uncomfortable, and the only outward physical manifestation would be my left eyelid would droop slightly during the 'attacks'.

But in the end it was concluded not to be MS but a week-long migraine.

Seemed to be stress-related like my proctitis, it occurs much less now than it did... But I might just not be as bothered as I was because I know it's not MS.

I reduced my salt intake a few months ago (it wasnt that high in the first place!) started getting terrible cramps, one left me with a limp for 2 weeks! re-introduced the salt and all fine since...

I used to get epic cramps in my calves back in my ravey days of the 1990's... rock-solid excruciating golf balls popping up on the back of my calf as I was in a dreamy half-asleep half-awake phase after (eventually) going to bed following a bender.

Dancing my tits off for 48 hours solid sweating profusely probably had something to do with it
