DELIVERY DELAY FOR LARGEST FERRY OF THE WORLD

The delivery of the ro-pax world's largest by German shipyards in Wismar was delayed by at least a week because of problems still unresolved. MAERSK Line return to profit

CMA-CGM and Maersk Line launches a new line

first of all - "Handlowy" means "commercial", so it's hard to say which port they think about. Second - Odessa is located on the shore of the Black Sea and it's not Polish at all. Should be listed as Ukrainian port.

SLOW DOWN HAMBURG
LOSING AND FEES



In the first quarter ilo port of Hamburg handled 1.8 million TEUs, 4% less than the same period last year. Hamburg in the quarter has lost significant market shares for the benefit of all the competing ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Zeebrugge, which recorded significant increases over the same period last year. In the second quarter should rebalance the trend, with the launch of five new services between Asia and Europe.

The forecast for the second quarter is for growth on an annual basis by 10%. Compared to last year, the port of Hamburg has increased by 18% rail traffic to the level before the crisis. MARSEILLE, FROM A CONTAINER MULTIPURPOSE
May 2010

The Port Authority of Marseille will convert the existing container terminal in Graveleau multipurpose wharf. According to the draft of the Authority, the terminal will continue to also handle containers, but will concentrate its activities mainly to other types of traffic. The six quay cranes for the terminal would be transferred to the new Fos 2XL container terminal, where all services will be focused full container. Activity of the new Fos 2XL container terminal, operated under concession by the French company CMA CGM, and the terminal operator DP World company, is scheduled for next year.

LOUIS CRUISES SELLS THE 'AEGEAN PEARL'

ECT Rotterdam extends Moerdijk
