MINNEAPOLIS, Sep 27, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TE Connectivity (TE) today announced that its FlexWave Prism distributed antenna system (DAS) has been deployed to cover the Inorbit Mall in Hyderabad, India. The FlexWave Prism DAS provides uniform coverage and capacity throughout the 1.6 million square foot property, and delivers services for three major mobile operators.
The new DAS supports four frequencies to deliver both 2G and 3G services within the mall. One of India's leading neutral host, in-building solutions providers, Global Rural NetCo Limited (GRNL), a part of the Global Group of companies, did the design, deployment and selected the FlexWave Prism DAS as the preferred solution.
"With such a large area to cover we wanted to avoid long runs of coaxial cable where we would lose signal strength over the distance of the run," said Kumar Chakravarthy -- President, Sales at GRNL. "The active FlexWave Prism DAS ensured that the system would deliver maximum power at every antenna point for multiple operators, and it could be deployed utilizing a single equipment room and thus took up less space."

It's really difficult to tell the exact number of malls.. The biggest one as of now is Inorbit, Madhapur.. Then its probably GVK One Banjara Hills.
