Vancouver, British Columbia (Dozens of Photos)

Last week I visited Vancouver for the first time and I must say it's definitely the most beautiful city I've ever been to. It's still got the hustle and bustle of a large city, yet it feels isolated at the same time. Here are most of the photos I took, check out my Flickr in my signature for the whole set.

The flight from Toronto to Vancouver, about 5 hours long. The Rocky Mountains can be seen.

The view from the hotel balcony. Vancouver's tallest building, Shangri-La Hotel, is on the left.

The Lions Gate Bridge, which connects mainland Vancouver to West and North Vancouver. The bridge goes across the Burrard Inlet.

Beginning to cross the Lions Gate bridge. One of the statues has a Vancouver Canucks jersey on, which is the home NHL team who recently lost in the playoffs.

As opposed to crossing the bridge and walking several kilometres, one can take the Seabus across the Inlet to reach North Vancouver.

Next there will be a thread on Banff National Park and Calgary as well, which I am hoping will be up in the next few days.

The thread of Calgary/Banff was beautiful and this one about Vancouver is great too!

Vancouver is beautiful! Although I spent only one month there, I really miss the city! I have great memories of Vancouver! I'll keep these memories forever! This thread was great to review places and to see things that did not exist when I was there!

Anyway... Congratulations for the photos and thanks for sharing them!
