I don't think cities in which a 145m tower would be the landmark really have what you could call a skyline.

I don't know, I've been to many European cities and two medium-sized U.S. cities, and from my experience cities either have a small cluster of highrises, or no skyline whatsoever. I don't know if I've ever seen anything in between.

In your previous post you said 'the landmark', not 'nicest tower'. The latter certainly is true for most cities.

It would have a great impact in a city like Berlin.

Yeah, but it wouldn't be 'the landmark tower' - that's that TV tower. Very nice one I may add.

Yeah true, many big cities have these tv and observation towers which are their 'landmark'. Now I think about, out of all the cities which have a famous landmark, just a few have a building as their landmark. It are all statues and towers and other things. Dubai is one of the exceptions. And NYC of course with the ESB but that's not the only landmark. And Chicago.

In a place like London City this would be a nice addition along with the other 21st century esque towers going up there. It's almost a shame that here it gets lost behind Madison park.

I new trend in glass skyscraper design is taking root for deformed shapes. I can't say it's a positive development. Examples spring to mind in Moscow, Guangzhou, and this one takes it to an extreme.

Actually I wouldn't compare tasteless Moscow towers with this one.

This building could be a fantastic addition and a nice landmark for a city like Sao paulo for example , and sao paulo is the third city in the world by the number of 35m+ building !

This would be too shiny for Sao Paulo.

That washing unit will be invisible from the northeast, which is good, but it will be well visible from the Madison Square Park side.
