sure, I shoot very often some details and work on evocative images when I can, so you will see hands, feet, kimono details, or even bodies whitout head (so your eye has to search for meaning outside the face) !
I really like doing this, I feel it is sometimes better to focus on little things because this is where meaning is

nope, they are lantern, the are on both side of the tori gate you see on the left, and therefore mark the entry of a shinto shrine ... quite a typical set up so I worked on the angle
