DH1 BILLION NEW BUR JUMAN PROJECT UNVEILED

BurJuman Centre unveiled a Dh1 billion redevelopment project to turn the existing Dubai mall into the Middle EastÕs total leisure destination, a harmonious blend of retail, commercial and residential space. The new BurJuman, to be ready in March 2003 around the existing BurJuman centre in the heart of DubaiÕs affluent residential area, will be set amidst modern international landscaping standards. Retail space will increase to 800,000 sq.ft. from the current 300,000 sq.ft. The new BurJuman will offer a truly unique experience for the entire family * from convenient creche family facility for children to a majlis for men, while the lady enjoys the best shopping experience. It will also feature a cover parking space for 3,200 vehicles, with an Ôintelligent systemÕ being put into place where directions will be given to the vacant slots. Several sections of the new BurJuman will be dedicated to green landscaping and will feature from end-to-end many types of indoor and outdoor gardens. The new Office Tower will include a 19-storey commercial office block with a built-up area of 300,000 sq.ft. It has state-of-the-art office, a hi-tech business centre, exclusive conference rooms, Internet facilities, a gymnasium and other sports facilities. The new facility will have a concierge style lobby, high-speed elevators, easy access to the retail centre, restaurants and a health club. The new BurJuman will also offer a completely new lifestyle to the residents of Dubai. Two apartment towers overlooking the rooftop gardens will comprise 200 furnished and semi-furnished condominiums in duplex and simplex styles, besides a block of fully furnished luxury apartments. Yea... Futtaim wanted to make sure it stayed there and ruined the view of the beautiful new BJ when it came up. Pretty devil like thing to do I must say.

its small but in Dubai dont matter how slim the tower ends ups

Its more like the kind of projects I am used to
