hi,
your developer ggpartners is also building the cappadocia project. after a delay of almost 3 years they have started work on the project again (i say again but they took another 10% from us when ENABLING WORKS started, which means putting up a plywood fence around the site and claiming construction had started). Check out the posts on the Cappadocia threads for more info. The developers simply wont respond to you emails or phonecalls and if you have called them i am sure you are familuar with the names osmancellikar and mr hikmat. dont know what you have paid so far but DO NOT MAKE A FURTHER PAYMENT AT THEIR REQUEST. They are now making progress with cappadocia project and have given us updates with photos and will be sending out an email shortly requesting a further payment. their excuse in short for the delay is that the master devoleper nakheel didnt hand over the site on tier and the land department has held them up. they dont provide any evidence for this and are very vague in their explanations and ultimately using the force majeur clause in their contract. rera have not responded to anyones emails and neither have ggpartners. Whats your experience with gg? post your replys on the cappadocia thread. would be good to hear from another investors experience. Also as a word of warning you should never believe anything the developer tells you without photographic evidence. for example in 2008 when i asked mr osman when did he expected us to make the 3rd payment? he said with a slip of the tongue "when construction starts" but at this point construction of the foundations were supposed to be under way after our 2nd installment. Haven`t seen any posts about your project until now but any investors should start posting their experiences now as it appears the Dubai law is not on our side. PLEASE POST ON THE CAPPADOCIA THREAD CAUSE WE ARE ALL ONE INVESTOR GROUP.
