the problem with this stadium is aerial. Too open on concourses and the wind will be important

It has a very cold architecture. I'm sorry but it is the less glamour new stadium in france now.

It's true that when you see this render, you can be worried about exposure to wind.

After, with regard to the architecture, it is a matter of taste. Personnally, this won't be my favourite stadium of the Euro 2016, but given the initial budget (165 M€), I find it not bad, and I appreciate the interior look.

the interior is quite normal and cool but the roof produces a very cold and unpersonal visual.

I hope fans will make the job because when Bordeaux plays well it's hard to beat them

The local newspaper of Bordeaux (SudOuest) said today that the key document (building permit application) was delivred. We can expect a building start this fall.

link in french: http://www.sudouest.fr/2012/05/24/l-...hp?reagir=true

Good news.

Yes, I read the news in Info-stades too.
But it's not clear how sure is the planning ? The opposition complaint may delay the building according to Bordeaux's mayor.

As for every major project, there is a period required to purging the remedies, so there is always an incertitude when a schedule is announced (I think you know it, since the time you're on the forums ).

But in our case, and as said by Alain Juppé, the project is solid, the opposition is more about the form (politicians you know...) and I think there won't be too much delay compared to the announced date.

Sure ! I mean : do they wait for fall to purge remedies (thanks for vocabulary because I didn't know how to say that in English) or is it the initial planning, regardless of the remedies... Which would mean the probability of delay is very high.

Ok, I understand what was your question, but, unfortunately I am unable to answer it... In the case where it's the initial planning, certainly there may be delays, but they should not be very important because the stadium will be ready for the Euro, and even a year before according to the criteria of the UEFA.

As regards to the vocabulary, I must thanks Google translation for each of my post on the international forum, you have to try it ! .

During Agora in Bordeaux, They presented the missing project. The Bouygues project, which was never presented before and arrived at the second place. Have a look:

So I guess the Vinci project is definitely the Best.

It'll be great to see this off the ground. The transformation of French stadia for the Euro Championships will be great.
