Green and yellow seats? Hopefully that's just a bad render. Really like the exterior, especially as it appears to be more enclosed now.

Well the colours are relevant to the club. The grandstand had yellow seats (before the change) and the other side has green seats. The crest has yellow in it. I don't know what other history the club has with those colours, but its not as if the seats are red and entirely irrelevant.

I hope the seats will be black & white. Something similar than Juventus Stadium.

I agree with you. The seats must be black and white.
They want to put multi coloured seats like Josè Alvalade in Lisbon to seem that the stadium will be always full. MS20, there is no reason why currently seats are green, blue and yellow (now black in the grandstand). They have been changed for World Cup 1990, also San Siro in Milan has a different colour for each sector. |

Main stand is still magnificent. Especially now that it has black seats.

I get the idea behind the multi-coloured seats, but it looks so odd in this stadium, especially compared to how fantastic the black seats look in the old stand. Given that fans usually wear the colours of the club, it would be better to use a combination of black and white seats in a random pattern, rather than the colours they've used in the vid.

Nice sketches. Thanks.
I understand the cost will come to around €40M. Is that a cost entirely borne by the club itself? Will the stadium remain in municipal ownership? |

Works start on May 13th with the shift of the field near the grandstand and the installation of drainage and under-pitch heating systems.
Demolitions of the rest of the stadium will probably begin at the end of September. Now they are building new skyboxes at the top of grandstand. Last edited by franz85; February 16th, 2013 at 08:24 AM. |

Looking forward to seeing this when completed. The main stand is great.

i like it!
it take account of reality and economic italians business models which see 80% of stadiums empty. 25k seater it's a better because even renovated at 41k the seats would have been empty. Pay per view in italia influences that. Except Juve, the two milan and roma, no clubs should have more 25-30k capacity. Italians stadiums 90 are white elephants
