Hey has anyone else noticed that it looks like they have removed the sitting squares inside the unopened area of the NE plaza....wonder why? Could it be for tree planting purposes?

Once they finish and open the whole plaza, where are they going to keep all those tractors?

A ship from 1700s unearthed in the construction is coming to State Museum in Albany.

It's awfully barren. To bad they didn't put in more grass. The flowers on the Survivor tree are beautiful!

talking about the NE corner... My wife and I both believe the Sphere that survived the 9/11 attack should be placed back in it's original location, which is north of the Museum and east of the north pool. It seems tossed away sitting there in Battery Park... I almost thought they were just holding off until the site was prepared for its return.

I wonder what's going on between the vent structures? That fence wasn't there on Jan 26, but was there on Jan 27 with snow "stored" within it. Now they have removed pavers.

It's going to be placed at Liberty Park once it's finished.
