The Tectonic photos make me hate the big, ugly roof "wart" even more. I sure hope it somehow looks good once clad, but I don't see how. The render in post #501 shows it being much shorter than it really is. I wonder if the structure will house equipment for cleaning the facade? It looks like gross overkill if its only purpose is to allow humans to access to the roof.

It's also been bugging me for a while, as sometimes it looks like it will fit snugly underneath the roof cladding, and other times it looks like it will stick out like a sore thumb...

This picture from the KPI TV Webcam makes it seem the same height as the facade, but it could just be error of parallax.
