Kay.

How about YOU design a memorable then? How about YOU spend millions and billions of dollars to create this? How about YOU spend millions of dollars to get a piece of valuable property in one of, if not the most influential city in the world so I can run some planes into them if you think I'm a monster.

I don't spread anything about you. What is this high school? I'm telling you that your opinion was rude and disrespectful. You said you wanted to make the waterfalls POOLS for Christ's sake. Do you want slides and a little kiddy section to go with that too?

Imagine your brother died here. Going here in flip flops and a wife beater to swim in his grave site are a PERFECT way to pay tribute to him /sarcasm in case you couldn't tell

You act like a 12 year old that thinks everything he says is true. That's why they didn't like you over on SSP. I saw the thread. I read the discussions. I'm surprised STR stood up for you. They didn't want you there apparently. We don't want you here.

Like I said, if you want something better, do it your damn self. Quit complaining about it here. What we're getting is what we're getting.

kanto have you ever considered that maybe the problem isn’t all the posters here and at SSP but rather that the problem is you? I follow all the WTC threads here and you can’t seem to go even a day without offending someone or starting a confrontation. This is because you post in a very confrontational manner and are highly insensitive.

You clearly Did not loose anyone on 9/11 but those of us that did and come here to follow the building of the memorial and the rest of the site are tied of having the experience tainted by your insensitivity. Saying that the memorials should be uses as pools is insensitive. Saying they are toilets is insensitive and to then top it all off by claiming that your insults are out of respect for the victims is just sickening. Whatever your intentions know that what matters is how you come off to others, not what your intent was. All you need to do is just drop it and move on. You aren’t doing anyone a favor by constantly throwing your little tantrums; rather you are just re-victimizing those that were affected by this attack.

I will end this here. I will not drop to your level azn_man12345. I will not fight in this topic. I will not let the forum suffer because you are a liar. You insulted me more than you can imagine because I criticised the toilet pools out of respect for the victims. This is my last post to you 4ever. Your lies are of no interest to me anymore.

Calm down Kanto. You're getting riled up for no reason. I'm pretty sure no one so far has agreed with your notion that the memorials are toilets. I don't care if you don't talk to me. I'd actually prefer it. What I don't like is you ruining my experience here on SSC. And how you call the memorial for the worst attack on American soil "toilets."

And you dare compare your "exile" from SSP to Traynor's and Carlos's unfairness here? Get real. You make absolutely zero contributions to these forums. You waste my time, your time, and everyone else's time.

I ask you once again, do you want slides and a kiddy pool with this memorial?

OK, all you Kanto haters! Yes, I mean YOU! He's obviously a very sick individual who thrives on being attacked and making offensive statements and attacking back and therefore, bringing on more attacks.

But who are the real fools here? YOU, for attacking him in the first place. And, some of you do it in the name of "not wanting others to be given false information." Give me a break. Who do you think you're protecting? And, who really cares? Does it really matter? NO!

So, please quite feeding the animal. Please, just use that sweet little ignore feature that simply blocks his posts or just use that sweet little scroll button on your mouse. Please!

Thank you.

Otherwise, you know who (that real whack) is just going to delete your posts and do his usual condescending, socially illiterate crap again (and you ask if Kanto is like 12).

I think the shift will happen later. But maybe they need to move the lanes eastward to make room for work on the WFC side. Or perhaps they just don't need as much room now for trucks to deliver supplies to the WTC site.

Also I found these links and documents online awhile back about the Route 9A project. Pretty cool stuff IMO.

Thanks the links they were very helpful.

They do still have a lot of work to do on the WFC side so it would make sense for them to shift the lanes over as soon as they didnít need as much room on the memorial side. Looking at the net firmís cam from the WFC it looks like they wouldnít have had the room to make the shift while they still had the cranes working on the vent structures but now that those are gone they barely have enough room add that extra lane.

Mods, please do your job.

Carolyn Cole / Los Angeles Times

"Minimalist lighting with monitoring cameras are a part of the design for the National September 11 memorial."

"The names of those killed at the World Trade Center are cut into the edge of the "Reflecting Absence" memorial."
