What a HUGE mobile crane. Cat 328, it looks even bigger (8 axles vs. 6) than the LTM1350-6.1 you showed on page 39. Guess it's going to remove the tower crane, and perhaps plant trees too.

Its a big boy- LTM 1500, and look at all that luffer! Sure will be interesting to watch take down the tower crane

Are they taking down that crane down(it's already down from the most recent cam shot) to prepare for Irene??? or is the work done in that area for that crane??? Thank you for any info.

They are just moving it into the hub, all the work there is done

I rather hope that Irene wont affect the memorial too much. Bloomber sounds like this will be a VERY serious event. And the whole WTC site is in the so called Zone A which's evacuation is mandatory, according to Bloomberg.

My bad, grammatical error: The mean high tide needs to rise about 11'-12' (~3.6m) to flood major parts of the site, including the Memorial, which it is very unlikely.
