The design of this area is an excellent outcome.

Well done to all involved in its design and construction.

I love the tridents inside the pavillion, although as I said before, I wish more than just two were saved and displayed. I think it would have been a more powerful presentation if they could have re-erected 4 or more, perhaps a half dozen to re-create a portion of the original facade.

He see's himself as the victim, when he's really the villain. We've put up with his bullshit long enough. He does this in ever wtc tread.

He should be rewarded troll of the year.

For many this is all they have got to remember their family/friends. Many were not recovered, for someone to call there resting place a grave is rather dis-respectful. There are some things you should keep in your head! The memorial is clever and symbolic. It was always meant to be that, the way it looks was always second. What it means to the victims family and friends is way more important. I think this memorial is amazing personally but that's my opinion.

Also where those old WTC steels are, is that where they where or have they been put there?

On another note the museum entrance looks brilliant, it reminds me of a apple store however

The two tridents were put into the museum building. Here is a scheme where you can see the footprints of the old towers and the museum building. After the cleaning of the site after 9/11 they saved some steel and some other material which will be used in the museum:

Btw, I agree that the memorial is not a grave. What is under it, that is a grave. The memorial is just the tombstone of it. There's nothing disrespectful at criticizing a tombstone like the pools if I'm criticizing it because I think 9/11 victims deserve something better than thos pools. That are just my two cents so that everybody knows that what I say I say out of my deep respect to 9/11 victims

Thanks for the information

I know what your saying however my point us that it's not just the victims who deserve our respect, also the victims family and friends so I'm just pointing out it may be disrespectful to them when this is what they have to remember all who died.

It was all brought to a hangar at JFK airport after 9/11, but I think the majority of it has been distributed and it will probably all be distributed out at some point.

Actually most of the steel was eventually scrapped and sold to China, where it is probably being used to make weapons that will be used against us in the next big war.

The same thing happened during the 1930's when the #1 export customer for U.S. scrap steel was Japan....

Τhe memorial is beautiful.... and I believe it is ingenious in its conception and realization. A fitting end to those that were never found and to everyone who was lost. Beautiful, impressive and awe inspiring.
