Thats just ridiculous, if they are going go take forever with the museum dispute the least they can do is finish off that one little section,
they have the stone on site and they already have the trees I mean really come one now.

It will make a lot more sense when the memorial is finished. Also when the vehicle security center is done across the street south.

Agreed. I was hoping after April 1 they'd start planting trees in the NE corner. But we've seen nothing happening in that area. I have occasionally seen people walking through the area on the webcams. But it doesn't look like they're doing anything significant.

Report: Port Authority Deal Could Resume Work On 9/11 Museum:

"The Port Authority has reportedly struck a deal to resume construction on the September 11th Museum.
Crain's New York is reporting the agency, which owns the site, has ended its financial dispute with subcontractors at the site.
According to the report, the Port Authority has paid out some of the money owed to the workers.
The dispute was over $150 million in cost overruns on the project and who was responsible to pay for them.
It's not known when construction will resume, although a completion date has been set for either June or July of next year."

Anybody know if they're going to open the rest of the memorial space this year? There's that section which is still closed off and being worked on.

The closed off section looks a little bit cleaner, maybe they're cleaning the area to lay pavers and finish it off. There's even a crane there.
