The bollards describe a slight curve along Liberty Street between West Street and Greenwich Street. I haven't noticed this before on the renderings, but now I found one which shows this pretty clear..

It will be in the park adjacent to the memorial.

No, probably in the future Liberty Park, see this article for instance, which also shows a render: http://www.archpaper.com/news/articles.asp?id=6247

The park will be built above the WTC Vehicle Security Center, related thread is here: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1458996

Back to the memorial, in the southwestern corner they excavated soil and placed it around the holes, same procedure we had when trees were placed in the past. Moreover, a large mobile crane is placed next to it. Looks like we see some tree planting soon, hopefully

Similar situation along the southeastern side..

Two trees have arrived on a trailer, and the crane is about to lift them

Been a long time since they planted the last tree..

Where?! I don't see anything:/ also seems weird for them to do it now in the winter, the weather has been so cold here in NY.

Edit: never mind I see now! Right by the temporary plaza entrance, exciting!

Also, looks like there were 3 trees or another got delivered, because one is in already and there are two more sitting there!

I always thought the best time to plant deciduous trees is when they are dormant (mid/late fall to early spring), and winter is fine as long as the ground isn't frozen (which would make digging extremely difficult). The absolute worst time is in the hottest part of summer. But given the way these trees are pampered, it probably doesn't really matter when they do it.

It looks like there are six or seven spots across from 4WTC that are also ready for trees. So I imagine they will work around to that area, then hopefully move on to the NE corner.

Now if they would just finish the roof of the Pavilion!

How do you know? Otie said not to long ago it was still scheduled for this anniversary and if not that's completely a punch in the face to the victims and the families even more then it already is at this point.

Museum won't be open to public until figure beginning 2Q 2014, Sandy caused severe damages that simply can't be fixed in a matter of weeks.

Another reason why it should not have been underground...and I'm definitely not one of those people who complain constantly but this is bull crap. 2Q 2014? Which means really like 13th anniversary...how terrible.
