Yep. There's two police officers ontop of the pavilion, looking over the memorial

I was at the site early in the morning and seen them walking back and forth on the roof.

Am I the only one who was disappointed with the memorial? I found it rather dull and would have preferred something more visually exciting and uplifting. Perhaps I would have preferred it if the museum had been open.

Visually exciting, uplifting??????? It's a memorial!!! People died on that same ground, It should be nowhere near exciting but rather sobering and a place for people to reflect on what happened there just like any other memorial you can think of; there's nothing visually exciting about the Arlington cemetery or the WWII memorial! My feeling when I go down there has more to do with the fact that it's incomplete without the museum and you're left wanting to see more, I think the opening of the museum should be able to fix that.

I suppose you're right. I preferred the memorial proposal with the cloud structure though.

So, they have removed the fence already? Is it already free to enter the memorial?

No, the fence is hidden between the trees, if you look closely, you can spot parts of it..

Wow...down to lines and arrows on the pavement! We've come a long way since the hole in the ground.

The memorial entrance has been shifted further east if I'm not wrong, maybe this means that they will soon open the new eastern lanes of West Street, the area has also been cleaned up over the last month.

I wonder how the view is going to be from the stairs inside WFC through this new entrance?
