Project Name: Discovery Primea
Location: Ayala Avenue, Makati, Metro Manila
Architect: Kenzo Tange (design was done before he died in 2005)
Purpose: Residential (only 90 apartments in all), Boutique Hotel

that's because there are only two apartments per floor while the rest of the floors are for the hotel. an apartment is at least US$1.3 million

wow they have one-story housing in downtown Manila? No height requirements? And this 250m building will come up and make it look even more disproportionate, but in a good way

the height limit inside that low-rise residential zone is strictly implemented but outside it is the high-rise commercial zone with no height limit as far as i know. the tallest building in that photo is 259 meters in height

It will give that area of Ayala Avenue a much needed refurbishment. The buildings on that side, with the exception of 6750, are quite dated.

Beautiful addition to the Makati Skyline.
