Teka, ba't parang exposed yung pre-rehab pavement ayon sa dalawang litrato na 'to???? Yung NLEx rehab yata kaya mabilis matapos, parang hindi tinibag yung old pavement, inasphalt overlay lang yata.

Makikita yung parang semento underneath the new pavement na yun yata ang old pavement.

eto rin, makikita mo yata yung pre-rehab/old pavement underneath the new pavement.

Rumors say that na-divert ang funds for elections.

Also, the minimum spacing between interchanges for expressways in rural areas is 3.2kms (AASHTO), which the proposed Balagtas interchange does not meet (Bocaue to Balagtas is approx 2.6kms)

The rehab process of the NLEX consisted of new pavement constructions and overlaying of structural asphalt.

Structural asphalt is not your ordinary asphalt seen along EDSA. It is designed to carry heavy loads and made to last a number of years

In sections where structural asphalt is to be placed, the old pavements (concrete) were divided (cut) into smaller segments and where then compacted.

When i was in LTO main in East Ave, an officer of LTO gave me some advices.

A vehicle of white Innova are the ones doing the Radar shot by using a Radar gun.

You can't notice the visibility of this car it's because, most of the time, their position is in Petron Gas Station in Balagtas, Southbound.

So as for warning, when you're approaching the Petron Gas station, reduce your speed now.

And kadalasan, sa umaga hanggang tanghali lang sila nanghuhuli. the rest of their hours sa Bocaue tollgate at sumisilip sila na hindi naka seat belt.

And regarding sa seatbelt, kahit tinted ang windshield ninyo, makikita nila pa rin, i don't know kung ano yung gamit nila. And dapat, both the driver and the passenger in front must wear seatbelt.

I like that...

At SCTEX?

main reason is kasi yung Bocaue exit/entry sobrang laging crowded causing a heavy traffic, everyday, whole day. Another factor is, kaya nila lalagyan dyan dahil sa itatayong North Food Exchange.

It would benefit mostly the private commuters and other public commuters going straight at end-point of Nueva Ecija sa ginagawang roads na ito.

Well, this is a free country. Its your choice. Wag lang sana kayong mangdamay in case of accident.

Oo nga no.... kaya pala mabilis ang NLEx rehabilitation dahil hindi talaga tinibag yung lumang pavement tapos yung mga tulay nito, parang inaspalto rin compared to SLEx na tinibag talaga lahat ng mga old pavement para lang malagyan ng bago. I have notice some NLEx pictures na parang may konting reflective cracks sa new pavement na may patches na, especially sa 8 lane portion kasi hindi talaga tinibag yung lumang daan sa 8 lane portion.

Wala pa atang 1 year nacomplete na nila nag rehab ng NLEX, kasi di naman nila tinibag mismo ang lumang daan, at di pinalitan lahat ng tulay like sa SLEX 2 years ang kinain para ma-kompleto ang rehab ng road..

It all depends pa din sa MNTC if they would allow the exemption.
Opening this new interchange would mean probable losses in revenue, since those previously using Sta.Rita would now use Balagtas (lower toll)

There has to be a comprehensive traffic study muna and approval of lenders/stockholders.

So siyempre yung 2 lanes tinambakan yun para maging 4 lanes, sinemento tapos asphalt. Kaya matagal din. Yung sa Tabang tollgate to Borol Interchange walang halos inayos don kundi asphalt na lang kasi yung part na yun is not crowded.

I think, its still the same, magkaroon man or di magkaroon ganon pa rin kikitain nila. Like for example Sta Rita is super crowded.

So as for that, kailangan dinggin naman nila ang hinaing ng mga motorista, It's actually a dagdag investments, not losses.

Hmm......

Last time gumamit kami ng NLEX (going to Fontana), highest speed namin sa Innova ng tatay ko was 140 kph. Real smooth.

Though the highest I've ever been was at 185 kph sa kotse ng batchmate ko.

I know the reasons: over speeding, reckless driving and irresponsible driving.

Sadly, some of the forumers here are also irresponsible drivers.
