Korean layouts tend to be very colorful and kitschy.

I actually like both, but I prefer the Korean designed supertall and the Japanese designed high rises.

Work begins on Vietnam Oil and Gas Hotel Complex

source: VOVNews.vn

The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) began construction of its five-star hotel complex in Me Tri commune, Tu Liem district, Hanoi on February 3.

The project has a total investment capital of VND7,500 billion, 29 percent of which is sourced from PetroVietnam and the remainder from foreign partners.

The 3.82ha complex will comprise a high-end office block (24 storeys and two sub-levels) and a luxurious hotel and apartments (30 storeys and sub-levels).

It is expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2011.

The correct status for this project is "prep".

We don't consider a skyscraper to be properly under construction till the foundation works are started. Digging a hole isn't construction!

Yeah, that's right.

This project has 2 phase

Phase 1: 3 150m towers (hotel and apartment) has been started by early of 2009
Phase 2: 108 fl. office tower will be started by 2011

We will update some photo soon.
