oh what a bummer, we just lost a potential megatall. the design is nice and all, but nothing compared to what we had before, considering we expected the final height to be at least 500m and the one we thought one was even over 600m...

Yup, at least it's still alive, I had lost my hope.

Nevertheless, this tower has a flat roof. That means 400m tall straight walls. Quite impressive to look up there .

I think this is more realistic for small city (by Chinese standards) like Nanning, I hope this is going to be build, I didn't have much hope for 600+ tower, by the way I love the design

i agree, this project seems doable and is still amazing. i mean 400m is freaking tall and the design is great, so it's great the project seems to be going.

This is a nice design. it will be a landmark, surrounded by lowrises.

Yes, it's design looks very nice. It will be symbol of Nanning, a city that isn't well known for it's architecture.

I was hoping for GMP Architekten design but this final render looks really sweet. I hope the park on top will be open to the public.

wonder if portman goes in for a similar design but height increased then. gensler is the drop design, right?

The John Portman at 500m would be nice.

I like the final design, simple but elegant.
