They lack the sophistication of Brazilians. Which aboriginal town has a mall with Louis Vuitton, Channel and Hermès as the flagship stores with tree-lined streets?

this is bad, my friend! Take a look in a avenue in Belo Horizonte:

In Sao Paulo, we can find some streets arborized, but there're some capitals that have more trees than Sampa.

Australian colleagues, hugs from Brazil!

I have a friend who spent six months on the Gold Coast (exchange). He loved to know Australia - including Australian girls!

KKKKK' i didn't know Australia was so dry. Whatever, i love Australia, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne , are simply AMAZING! But i love the brazilian cities, they are the most amazing, for me. And sometimes I can't accept some people complaining with Sampa, because the old and residential blocks. In my opinion, Sampa seen fron street level is so much better than aerial views. So, this is it

Sorry about the english, again.

The thing with Australians is, if you can take a joke, we'll like you. If you try and argue with us, you will be mocked. Don't take anything we say too seriously, it is rarely intended that way.

Wot? No beacuse HK arguably has better properties with much better views in far more lush surroundings. Brazil has some beautiful neighbourhoods but it would be remiss of you to dismiss HK on this issue. Not everything is mega tall residential towers and frenetic activity.

There are areas in Hong Kong that do contain lovely non-high rise dwellings. the peak is littered with hugely expensive mansions set in lush tropical greenery, most if it up high overlooking the south China Sea and city.

There are also plenty of great areas in the New Territories, that have beautiful residential dwellings and a clamer way of life.

Sure, despite not having a mall with Louis Vuitton, Channel and Hermès as the flagship stores with tree-lined street, it has the best prawn salads, prawn crackers, prawn tempuras, prawns and chips, prawn cocktails that Sao Paulo "can only dream of". It also proud of having the world renowned BSD as among its residents.

Hong Kong is not full of these types of neighbourhoods.
So in other words Sao Paulo is a sprawling mess?

Should lots of low rise residential areas really be in a city when there's x million people living in it? Such areas have a place - but they shouldn't be the norm.

Not to say that Sao Paulo is definetely more multiracial.

and a very important factor: brazilians are hotter.
How do you know Sao Paulo has better nightlife anyway? HK is a party town full of cheap drugs and booze. I've had many insane nights out there.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm arguing. I've always wanted to visit SP and imagine I'd love it.

You have once again proven your stupidity. What are those pictures above, many are detatched houses in quiet, lush and affluent neighbourhoods in Hong Kong. If you don't understand or know anything of a place, don't make stupid and uninformed comments thanks.

Sao Paulo is not full of affluent, leafy suburban streets either. Hong Kong actually has more detached houses in nice areas than you might think, HK is not all densely populated high rise units.

I think you would love it. The gay pride parade street party alone is the biggest in the world with more than 3 million Imagine - so many men so little time

Seriously I've heard from a few people that Sao Paulo has the best nightlife in South America. You will NEVER see the same person twice!!

Hong Kong is owned by the largest non-English speaking country in the world and you say that non-English speakers barely know about it??
