Humnnn....JW Marriot you are talking about is getting done at JASOLA, New Delhi and not Gurgaon....its under construction at the moment...

I am certain there is no JW coming up in Jasola. However, you are correct about the on ein Gurgaon with Uppal. Read below for details:

Correct me if I'm wrong but the five star hotels scheduled to open in Gurgaon during 2011 are:
1. Oberoi Gurgaon
2. Vivanta by Taj Gurgaon
3. Pullman Gurgaon.

Any others?

hotel city park in pitampura, a 4star hotel is also very good.

but it is quite remote from airport/railway station, though closer to NSP metro station.

There is still lot of construction which is going on here. Traffic is also messy here. This was not at all a good location for a hotel though it was an excellent location for an office complex.

The people visiting those office complexes from out of town will need a place to stay.
Judging by the glowing reviews this hotel has been recieving on trip advisor and the likes it appears that those people that actually have to come to gurgaon for business and stay in hotels like this think this is an excellent location.

Besides is there a prime business location in India without traffic or lots construction?

In India? I am talking about places very close to this hotel itself. There are many hotels within 2 km of radius of this one which are located in cleaner and quieter locations, such as Marriott, Radisson, Park Plaza, Lemon Tree, Peppermint etc.

I don't think, lemontree's, gingermints, peppermints, and other local no name shacks with rock hard mattresses fit the bill for the executive level types who are used to used to collecting their starwood points and the likes.

crown plaza is perhaps the nearest ..
entry for westin is actually from back of iffco - chowk, the area around RITES/power grid


u have arown plaza on one end ,, and westin on another

Just looked at an image of room in the Peppermint hotel. I can tell you this, there is NO way that they're going to capture the same demograpic as the westin with that cheap vinyl fake wood floor.
