The building is running through a redesign phase due to a recent expansion of the land. The contractor is waiting for a financial agreement from Mexico City's goverment, once this is resolved, construction should move forward.

Woow...
Great news. This design looks amazing. I'm really rooting for this project off the ground.

Possible re-design going underway due to the expansion of the land. The new portion of terrain used to be owned by mexican bank Banamex, which wouldn't give the land unless the tower could give them back the office space lost. Not sure what's going on right now, but it appears that another architect is being hired by the contractor, this new design appears to have more floors than the previous one, no official information released yet..

Habra que ir al showroom e investigar que hay al respecto
Mientras tanto les presento la propuesta(y en su web dice 2011) :

This is stunning, but I prefer the original.

Rojkind is out, architect Michael Edmonds is now in charge of the project.

I prefer the original design, but the new one isn't bad. Hope to see it rising soon.

I agree with people saying that it looked better before the redesign - it went from brilliant to "ok". It's kind of sad, because it already looked like a solid contender for future skyscraper tournament ...

Too bad they redesign the project, the original design was phenomenal!

Anyway, here is better renderings by dbox of the old design.

Oh my, the old proposal was absolutely gorgeous. I hope they don't use ugly green glass on the new one.

Not really sure what to think about that picture. It certainly got the wow factor, but i'm not really sure i like the design. That old one was just drop dead gorgeous.

the old design wasn´t bad, but it had an awful flat wall on the east side. the best part was the facade, no doubt, but that could work anywhere. maybe between two building it would be perfect. the new design is better in my opinion, it doesn´t have a "back" side and it´s better integrated with the surrounding. hope it gets built fast.
