107 W 57 will only be 50ft shorter than 432 so that looks accurate. I think 107 W 57 should be closer to one57. They made the location way to the left! 225W57 should be way taller, like 1550 + ft tall.

But James said the building went back to the drawing board and the September design announcement has been cancelled. Right now we know nothing of the height or design of the building and there are no announcement dates set. Though I would love if they would show this one asap. I'm dying to see it

Most likely there wasn't a chosen design and the height is most likely still 1550 feet.

I would not be surprised if the height is less than 1,500'. Barnett does not care about precise height figures like people on this forum do.

I hope this building gets built, because they still don't have a design for it.

If this even gets the same base and top as KK100 (the tower in the render pretending it's 225 West)

Well, i guess he does since he already filed for 1550 feet.

Around 1,500 ft.

I wish. Also, here's the original photo source.

I believe this is the (even earlier) rendering I made that Gizmodo was trying to replicate. Again, without 107 West 57th Street, which will change this view dramatically. I think I made 432 to skinny and tall however.

I guess that change came after the filing. It will give him possibilities to change the height. Building lower than the indicated height of 1550 ft is no problem.

Congrats SBarn! Finally you are getting the recognition & exposure you deserve! Your NYC portfolio of 2010/2020 renderings published online.

Major props to Business Insider for crediting you.

Here's What The New York City Skyline Could Look Like In 2020 (Sept 19, 2013)

If current building proposals are any indication, New York's skyline is going to keep getting taller and taller.

For an idea of what the city will look like a few years from now, SkyscraperPage user sbarn produced gorgeous renderings of the city that incorporate current architecture projects. We first discovered them over at New York Yimbly.

To make the renderings he took existing photographs of the city's skyline, and enhanced them with future building proposals and ongoing projects, such as Hudson Yards, One 57, and the World Trade Center Complex.
Check out how dramatic the changes between now and 2020 are going to be in NYC.

Here's another look at present day New York looking downtown from northern Manhattan on the Upper West Side

@Sbarn... Looking fwd to an update to your 2020 renderings.

107,,,40feet wide? wow thought 432 was thin,, that would be anorexic in comparison.. Is it even possible to go that high, so thin?
