The zoning diagrams have been removed from the DOB website. I guess whenever the "final design" is approved , it will be posted on the job site .

Really? That's interesting and that's definitely news for a slow day in SSC universe. Hopefully a new diagram to soon follow?

We can only hope to see our eyes feasted to a design render at the site similar to the one YIMBY put up, with slight tweaks here and there(cough, cough...taller)!

All of the most recent filings list the height at 1,492', which is presumably the height of the HOF. With the parapet/crown, it should exceed 1,500'. I believe that Nimby's rendering had a HOF of about 1,420 with the parapet at 1,478.

If someone had the time to visit the DOB, I'm sure that he could see whatever Extell has filed, which is currently under review.

If that's it, 1,490 could very well have height at top of parapet of 1,550...essentially it's close if not exactly Extel's original maximum proposed height. With the spires, that will prove interesting if the intended bigger spire remains the same or is modified due to the increase in proposed height to the roof of 62 ft.

Not to start a debate (that's really not my intention), but it's interesting to note that the city of New York only seems to care about a building's height to its roof as far as zoning goes. (The FAA might not feel the same, however.)

The FAA only cares about AGL Above ground level height to the top of the lightning rod of any structure.

The FAA limit is 2000ft if I'm correct.

Is the lower construction pit for the Nordstrom tower? It's clearly under construction since you can see rebar sticking out above street level as part of the building's structure.

I just hope the render is accurate. NY doesn't need another featureless glass box at that height. I enjoy seeing the variations in the facade.
