Either that or when it's already topped off/fully clad and we don't even need renderings anymore

We have probably seen what it basically looks like. Yimby did a
Masterful job uncovering this tower.

I'll take 1,490'+ of this. It's far more refined than the initial massing model on the right.

In anticipation of Otie's new Nordstrom renders, I had some fun and took a stab at combining the earlier one with the latest Steinway:

Not sure I got the scale 100% but I think it's pretty darn close.

Nice! Can you add Verre? Hopefully, within a year, we'll know what the Park Lane looks like!

Unfortunately, I think Verre would be outside this shot to the right (I also don't have a render from the appropriate angle). I might try to see if I can find a good one of 220 CPS, but I think it would be mostly obscured by Nordstrom from that angle.

What else can we anticipate adding to this part of the skyline? Park Lane is a given... 31W57th and that "seven star hotel" that partially comprise it as well. Before the shadow mongering NIMBYs get anything passed to limit development(and to me truthfully there shouldn't be THAT much in additional new super high risers beyond that.... maybe a couple at most)how much more you guys think will be added to this skyline most likely?

The spire is resolutely architectural:

It would be hard to believe there won't be some push for the spire used for some communications (besides simple cell, satellite TV antennae on the roof). With the increase in elevation and separation from 1WTC, it increases capacity for transmission in the city and with a height that would be very near the massive 2,000 foot towers used in rural areas where a large coverage area is needed. Cramming all transmitters to a few towers is not optimal.

Nothing we haven't seen. Seems like Yimby was right all along.
It looks good but I really can't say I love it. You take the spire and the cantilever out and it looks like any modern building anywhere in the world.
But it's not a total disappointment. Still a solid design and it will look great on the skyline.

Wonderful. The lighting is similar to 1717 Broadway.

Nice but nothing special. Tower Verre is still the most interesting supertall planned for NYC. The facade quality will make or break, so we wait.
