That form is for the crane that will be used in this project, not the building itself.

Looks like roof/crown will be @1,569ft / 478m. Add 80ft for elevation --> 1,649ft / 503m.

Sigh. Yeah, that just got pointed out over on YIMBY too. I guess it's a little too easy to get excited about potential updates on this front.

The unusual height of the tower crane could certainly indicate a spite will be installed, but not anything like a 250 foot one.

I'm afraid that is only certain if one counts them himself, because if there's one number they cheat with, it's the floor count.

DOB filings must list the real floor count. Latest info we have for the CPT is 99 floors.

Two questions: Will there be a spire on this tower (central park tower)? And the spire height brings one wtc to 1776 feet, then how is the height to tip of the same tower 1792 feet? Is there an antenna atop the spire?

1776' is to the top of the beacon structure.That 16' difference is the pole that extends above for lightning.The FAA counts it in as part of the entire obstruction.

Heard the same argument a million times already. It's done. Move on.

Well duh wtc 1 is 297 feet shorter than Shanghai Tower that's like me standing at 6'0 to Shaquille O'Neal 7'1 .but in the end of the day New York is one of the three most iconic cities in the world the other is London and Paris, Shanghai is not .

We don't know, latest we've heard the roof will be 1569' or 478 meters. We don't know if they're going to add the spire again or not.

This building is about 200 feet higher than the roof of 1WTC so it deserves to be taller in every way, I really hope they put a spire going to ~1800 feet on it. That would look epic

The title should be updated to 99 floors by the way

This project has a most unusual floor layout- it is still quite difficult to define what part of the construction corresponds to what part of the renders. Perhaps that is because of the cantlever.

Hopefully the building will become more defined within the next few floors.

Indeed, it doesn't help that its squeezed between other buildings. From street level it's quite hard to get an overview.
