Yup, that's 220 Central Park South. Since they're right next to each other, you can usually catch good updates on CPT in the 220 CPS thread and vice versa.

In your defense a lot of those places opened up only recently!

This. It runs all the time. Doesn't take that long and you'll get fantastic views of Manhattan from the south. Brooklyn and Jersey City too. And close enough to the Statue of Liberty that you won't have to go there..

It should be on everyones to do list on a first visit.

And yeah, it's free.

In these pics, you can see the wall above the metal bracing has moved up, so there is some progress. But it is going about 2 floors a month.

There are many pictures from excellent photographers on this forum, but ILNY must be one of the very best when it comes to bringing the construction process to live :-)

How many metres will the cantilevered part actually be?
(or: for non-metric guys: how many feet? )

@ jacko5

I meant the width of the cantilever, so the amount it sticks out of the main tower.
The auxiliary steelworks will be wider than the cantilever itself, I suppose.

Is it still rising? I looks like it hasn't grown much in weeks.

I can't explain you.

Just kidding. I'm not an engineer, but I'd say the two concrete walls will continue up the height of the tower, and are also the support for the cantilever which will happen in the next few floors. Based on the designs, the tower portion of the building is where the core walls are.
