It's also a factor whether it's in a city in the western world or not, imo.
But it's going off track.

I found this picture from a video posted by McSky on the 220 CP South thread.

It shows major progress that we all have been waiting for! Thank you McSky!

Yes, it's nice to get a peek at what's going on up there.

Here's the video, dated Oct 25:

Hard to say, I think it's well over 300 ft. It's easier if it can be compared with the neighbouring buidings.

How many floors of the cantilever need to be built before it becomes self-supporting?

I'm not an engineer, but I'd say very few... maybe even just one or two. Then I assume they'll leave the platform there until the building is finished as a safety "net".

Pretty much as it is, already is selfsupporting. Remember that cantilever is designed to support dozens of floors, so supporting itself is no biggie. Although it is not finished, maybe there is the equivalent of another level left, but that is not needed to support itself but to support all the floors above.

It is like the ground floor column of a fifty story building, it is more than capable to stand by itself, you can make it much smaller just to be able to be self supporting, but you need to make it bigger to support all the other 49 floors above.

True, but concrete may taken a few days to set, but it takes more time to reach maximum strength.
It would expect the platform and netting to rise with the floors during their contruction.

Well, the platform cannot be raised, since the cantilever rests on it
