Excellent. Confusion and honesty all at once.

Anyway, you know what I'm talking about. There are towers that have seamless glass facades without any visible dividers and I quite like those. Sure they are more expensive.

A seamless glass facade is nicer.
Ok. There's no curtain wall on skyscrapers with no mullions no matter the cost. They are a frame supporting the weight of the glass panels and provide structural integrity against very strong wind loads.

How much they are expressed on the facade is a different story but they are always behind the glass.

Correct, there is also a limit on the size of glass lites and millions are used as the supporting frame. You can create a relatively seamless look by using sealant joints rather than exterior mullion caps.

Has anyone realized it yet that this building looks to be like the flipped version of One57, at least up until this point and from that angle?

You can see facade color under the foil.

The second pic really shows what an amazing feature the cantivelar is, and how it makes the tower super futuristic. Imagine how cool it will look like when the tower is finished. It already appears like the tower could break in half anytime soon, let alone at a height of almost half a kilometer.
